Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park is an urban area of Chicago which borders Lake Michigan and has a population of about 71,950 residents. Described as one of Chicago’s superior neighborhoods, Lincoln Park is home to many shops, restaurants, and activities that are perfect for anyone looking to live in Chicago. Lincoln Park offers a dense, urban feel and around half of its residents own their homes. Many young professionals live here, but it is also one of the best places to raise a family in Chicago as it is one of the safest neighborhoods and offers residents highly-rated schools as well as plenty of family-friendly activities.  Lincoln Park has a wide variety of restaurants in the area (North Pond, Pequod’s, and Summer House) as well as many coffee houses and bars that can be found near the water (Compass Bar, Ravens, etc.) Along with the great food, there is no shortage of activities for kids or for adults as this community offers not only the bustle of the city, but also the fun and relaxation of parks and beaches along the coast. All kinds of attractions can be found in Lincoln Park, whether you are looking for a sample of the city (Second City Improv, Chicago History Museum, Lincoln Hall Theatre) or looking for some outdoor fun (Lincoln Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, North Avenue Beach).
